David Foster reportedly blames his estranged wife Yolanda for the failure of his record label.
The Grammy-winning star recently announced his intention to divorce his wife after four years of marriage.

source close to the celebrity duo has now claimed David thinks
Yolanda's involvement with the reality TV series The Real Housewives of
Beverly Hills has hurt his status as chairman of Universal's Verve Music

insider explained: 'David's record label is shutting down ... and he is
blaming her for this failure because he thinks the Housewives show has
hurt him.'
The
series has helped launch the careers of two of David's stepchildren,
Victoria's Secret model Gigi and Bella Hadid, who also works in the
modelling industry.
However, David, 66, is reportedly frustrated the show hasn't benefited his career in the way it has for his stepchildren.

Sharing her story: Yolanda has been
documenting her battle with Lyme disease on social media, as she tries
different treatments in a bid to find a cure
The
insider told the New York Post newspaper: 'David likes to stay
relevant. He's had success and was a big deal ... so I think [the show
made him] feel like he doesn't hold the same place in pop culture. Maybe
it's a reality check because her daughters are pop culture.
'I'm sure he's upset her kids' careers are popping off and his aren't. He's competitive in that way.'
Meanwhile,
Yolanda, 51,told reporters at the season six premiere of The Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills: 'I keep going, one foot in front of the
other. Obviously, this is a difficult time and I'm heartbroken.
'I hope to be moving forward to a brighter future and I'm just trying to get through it one day at a time.'
When
asked what was helping her through the difficult time, she credited her
three children for keeping things as constant as possible.

She added to People magazine: 'My Gigi, my Bella and my Anwar. My forever. I guess that's my only forever.'
She told Extra on the red carpet that she wants to 'privately mourn her marriage'.
'It's
life, I share so much of my life with the world that this is something
I'd really like to mourn in a private way with my children and my close
friends.' She went on, 'We love and respect each other and hopefully
we're gonna be great friends in the future.'
Meanwhile,
Yolanda previously took to Twitter to ask for people's understanding
following the split and urged people not to judge the former couple
after what had happened.
She
wrote: 'We've grown apart... But my love & respect for
@officialdfoster is still the same, he's been very good 2 me so pls
don't judge our journey!'
At
the premiere party, all seemed well between Yolanda and her castmates -
despite them speculating abut the severity or even existence of her
Lyme disease behind her back.
Viewers
of RHOBH have watched Yolanda struggle with her health over the past
three years following her diagnosis with Lyme Disease in 2012.
'I
feel like better today than I felt 12 months ago when I fell into my
last relapse,' she added to Extra on Thursday, 'and it's taken me a year
to get out of the bed.'
